Additional Information

Cheerleading Competition:

This is an open competition. Each squad should have a “squad name” and register before or upon arrival at the Summer Games Registration and Information table. The cheerleading competition will be judged on appearance, content of cheer, performance, style, and audience response. This is a “historic event” from the earliest days of the Summer Games. The trophy will be awarded at the closing ceremonies. All judging decisions are final. You may register online at our website, www.factlv.org. All groups are welcome!

Miss Tidal Wave Competition:
This is an open competition. It’s an event that started over twelve years ago… This is a great way for someone you know with that “outgoing personality” to help raise even more money! All contestants are able to sit in the dunk tank for ½ hour. The person with the most money raised during their time in the tank will be crowned Miss Tidal Wave 2011.
Former Miss Tidal Waves include: Robbie Starr, Tinsel Garland, Miss Ida Rosenburg, Arlene Barone, Miss Olivia, and Gisselle.

Best Cabin / Campsite / Room Decoration Contest:

This is open to all parties. A trophy will be awarded to the best decorated!
Inclement Weather Events:
In the event of inclement weather, the judges will announce the events and locations on the day of the event. Any questions or concerns about the event can be directed to Carl Mancino at (610) 730-9155 or by calling the FACT office at (610) 820-5519.

If you would like to be part of the competition but don’t have a whole team to put together, call Carl to be placed on an alternate list. Sometimes people have to cancel at the last minute, and the teams need pick-ups!

Tickets

Tickets can be purchased in advance for $15.00 (call us at (610) 820-5519) or you can purchase your tickets on the day of the event for $20.00! The FACT Summer Games is a major fund raiser for FACT and it is so very important for this event to be a success.

The money raised by the FACT Summer Games, help provide the grants and financial assistance so desperately needed by those suffering from HIV/AIDS and have no other resources to turn to for help. So come to the Games! Enjoy a great day with you old friends and make some new ones, while helping those in need as well!
